Before using the device for the first time, all parts that come into contact with milk must be sterilized
Funnels, backflow protector, valve, feeding bottle, feeding cover, feeding nipple, inner feeding cover
Using your preferred sterilization method
- Through traditional sterilization by soaking the parts in boiling water
- With a UV sterilization device from Spectra
Sterilization method with boiling water:
- Boil an amount of water that covers all parts, then remove it from the heat
- Place all parts of the accessories in boiling water and leave them for a maximum of 5 minutes
“Valve, backflow preventer silicone, 3 minutes” Excessive heat may change the shape or color of parts or cause them to lose their function
- Dry the parts by leaving them on a clean towel or paper towel, then covering them when not in use
After each use:
After each use:
- Wash the parts of the accessories that come in contact with the milk (funnels, backflow protector, valve, feeding parts) with warm water and soap.
- Rinse the parts with running water
- Dry the parts by leaving them on a clean towel or paper towel, then covering them when not in use
Important notes:
- The air tube cannot be washed and there is no need to sterilize it! The milk does not touch the pneumatic tube
- All parts are dishwasher safe
- When needed, wipe the basic pump with a damp, not wet, towel! And do not sterilize
- It is recommended to sterilize regularly after more than one use
- If the child is sick, it is best to sterilize it after each use by boiling or using a sterilizer
